1950s Viking Cut Table Lighter Blue Glass, Mid Century Japanese Lighter, Lighter Collectible Vintage, Blue Glass Ashtray, Cobalt Blue Glass

Beautiful, 1950s, mid century table lighter in cobalt blue glass.

The lighter is an adorable round, apple shape in cobalt blue glass. A silver mechanism sits on top of the lighter, marked "Japan".

The ashtray is oval and shaped somewhat like a flower petal. Also in cobalt blue glass. Notches sit on either side of the tray for cigarettes to rest on. You can observe a few tiny bubbles in the glass on the ash tray, which adds to the charm of this mid century piece.

The set itself fits together, with the lighter resting inside of the ashtray for easy transport. The glass this set is made with is thick, and heavy, with an overall quality you can feel upon touch.

This set was previously used by my great grandmother and her husband at the time. It is in surprisingly excellent condition considering what it was used for. No chips or cracks in the glass. There are also no remnants of ash left in the tray or an undesirable smell present. Would make a lovely collectors item!
