QUALITY SUSTAINABILITY FROM THE AMERICAN FOREST
At March Legend®, we intend to create timeless forms designed to last a lifetime. Each custom design we make is carefully considered, selecting only the most extraordinary American wood species, many of which we have reclaimed and aged for years or locally harvested, then aged without haste until we decide to release them for new projects. It's important to note that the average tree takes 75 to 125 years to mature; for that resource to maintain its renewability, we must also make our furniture last that long. Our products feature centuries-old traditional techniques such as tongue groove, ship lapping, housed joints, and mortise tenon joinery style construction to ensure a long life.


SHIPPING POLICY
March Legend ® provides free white glove drop shipping direct to customer or reduced shipping (some restrictions may apply) arrangements to most street addresses in the continental United States (remote, above two stories, conditions such as hoist in a window, extra charges may apply, call March Legend for a detailed quote). This excludes any APO and P.O. Box addresses. We ship orders via USPS, curbside standard freight, and in-home white glove delivery. Please measure all doorways to ensure the furniture you choose will pass through; March Legend cannot be responsible for custom furniture that does not pass through client entry or doors. It is important to note that once a piece leaves our workshops, the remaining shipping time is beyond our control.
In most cases, furniture leaves and arrives without delay, but unforeseen circumstances can arise, such as delivery location or scheduling conflicts. While we make every effort to ensure your furniture arrives in impeccable condition, some things are beyond our control. We cannot claim that damages never occur during transit or movement. Our carriers handle your furniture prudently, but damages can happen no matter how carefully. March Legend cannot be responsible for shipping damages and asks its customers to inspect and refuse damaged items for a timely repair or replacement. March Legend will try to expedite a remedy for the damaged goods. As a courtesy, please remember that we make shipping arrangements with the experienced white glove or standard freight companies we use; freight company employees or the shipping companies themselves are in no way affiliated with March Legend. Our customers should make their shipping arrangements if they prefer. March Legend cannot be responsible for shipping charge increases, shipping charges in or outbound, or both. Shipping and return shipping charges are non-refundable. If your furniture arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately to discuss the matter while the delivery personnel is on site. If this is not possible, please note all details on the bill of lading, including specific damage or defects to the furniture and any damage to exterior packaging. Please note that a bill of lading is a legal document and that all substantial damages or defects must be detailed in writing before signing. We may ask for photos to help us determine the extent of damage or defects to expedite a remedy. We also ask our customers to refuse damaged goods for the quickest fix. Please keep in mind that a return for repair at our workshops or replacement can take up to 3 to 8 weeks, depending on the severity of the problem. We understand waiting can be difficult after the initial lead time, but customers must allow us the time to remedy the situation appropriately. Our furniture receives a rigorous inspection by March Legend before shipping and again by our white glove delivery personnel before accepting the furniture for outgoing shipments, so please inspect for damage during arrival at your location.

SAFETY
Customers with children should take great care to secure large case pieces such as dining hutches, bookcases, bedroom chests, armories, or mirrors to the wall with toggle bolts, screw-to studs, or other means to avoid serious injury. Because of the custom nature of our business and many customers specify custom sizes, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure proper anchoring of any custom piece, taking special care with items such as dressers and chests that children may use drawers to climb and possibly topple over resulting in serious injury or death. Again, due to the custom nature and customer requests for items such as blanket chests, wardrobes, armoires, unique tables, etc., with lids, doors, or large surfaces that can slap shut or lock come with the risk of injury or death, children should always be supervised, or the customer should install an approved safety hinge and or safety release is recommended. Any media centers or items produced with custom electrical components should check local codes and ensure proper grounding. March Legend may provide its customers with these custom options but rely on its white glove delivery personnel or customers for appropriate installation.
